How to find Hall Farm House
By car
If you are travelling via the M1, take the A619 following signs for Chatsworth / Baslow / Manchester. In Baslow follow the A619 to Calver crossroads. Straight on on the A623 for approximately 3 miles through Stoney Middleton and Houseley.
Keep going until you see a sign for Litton and Cressbrook. Turn left here and follow the road and at the first left hand turn marked ‘Monsal Head and Cressbrook’ you will see Hall Farm House B&B. Turn left and take the second right turn into a large yard at rear of property where you can park.
If you are travelling via the A6 coming from Buxton, turn left along the B6049, signposted for Millers Dale and Tideswell. Drive through Millers Dale past Tideswell Picnic area and turn right at Litton signpost. Drive through the village and at the next right hand turn signposted ‘Cressbrook and Monsal Head’ turn right. Take the second right-hand turn into a large yard at the rear of the property for parking.
By train
The closest train stations to Hall Farm House are Grindleford or Hope. This is on the Sheffield to Manchester railway line.
By bus
There are several bus routes through the village to Buxton, Bakewell, Chesterfield and Sheffield. Route 65 from Sheffield interchange takes about an hour and a half to reach Litton.
Hall Farm House has three comfy bed and breakfast rooms available, two of which have ensuite bathrooms. The third is a twin room. We are also happy to accommodate dogs if you wish to bring your four-legged friend to stay too!
