Booking Terms & Conditions

Last updated March 2019.

When you place a booking to stay at Hall Farm House (“we” or “our” or “us”) you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set out on this page. Please read these carefully. These terms and conditions may be amended or updated from time to time.

Price & Payment

The price includes accommodation for the number of nights you specify, and includes a cooked breakfast per the specified number of guests. If you are booking online we can only allow a maximum of two guests per booked room.

If you would like to book with us over the phone or via an external website such as Guestlink, we generally require a £50 deposit payable by cheque or bank transfer and sent within at least seven days of your booking. Please note, your booking cannot be confirmed until we receive this deposit. The rest of the balance can be paid either by cash or card when departing the property.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 48 hours before your booking you will not be liable for the total balance. For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling you can be made liable for the total amount.

Non-Availability

We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. If this is the case we will issue you with a refund. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repairs if the damage or breakage is significant.

Antisocial behaviour

We reserve the right to request the immediate departure from the property of any guests who engage in illegal activities while in the property or in their private room. Similarly, if a guest is presenting a possible risk or harm to others who may be in the property we will ask them to leave.

We also request that you respect this is a family-friendly property, and keep noise to a minimum after 10PM. Room occupants must not exceed the amount specified on the initial booking unless prior arrangement has been made.

Smoking

There is no smoking allowed anywhere in the house. There are linked smoke detectors fitted to all rooms and communal areas for your safety. The use of vape pens is also not permitted while inside the residence.

Children & Young People

You must be over eighteen to book a stay at Hall Farm House. We are happy for children to stay on the property as long as they are properly supervised by an adult. Unfortunately we cannot provide a travel cot.

Dogs on the property

We are happy to have dogs stay at Hall Farm House. We do however request that you do not leave your dog alone on the property. This is due to the dog being in an environment that it is unfamiliar with, and possibly becoming anxious or distressed.

We understand accidents can happen – if your dog has an accident in your booked room or on the property, please clean any mess up to the best of your ability and inform us when possible.

We reserve the right to recoup costs where necessary due to destruction or damage caused by your dog.
